The Seminary for Insight, Research, and Transformation

SIRAT is an independent graduate seminary in California. It forms chaplains, counselors, and community leaders to serve people of every background, and it produces the scholarship its own teaching rests on. The courses offered here are open to anyone, with no prerequisites and no application.

Yes. Students who complete a course receive a certificate of completion from SIRAT.

Instructors are listed on each course page. Courses are taught by SIRAT faculty and, where the subject calls for it, by guest teachers from other traditions.
